Adding a "start" listing for a Cliptures-KoolKat catalog.
Tip:
Want to set up a Cliptures-KoolKat catalog so you can start it from the Windows Start button? Here's how: Put the Cliptures CD in your CD drive and give your computer a minute to read it.
Please note: Although this tip works, there are enough variables from computer to computer that we cannot do tech support on this. You're on your own!
- Click on the Windows Taskbar "Start" button.
- Go to the Settings option and choose Taskbar... .
- Click on the "Start Menu Programs" tab.
- Click on the "Add" button.
- In the "Create Shortcut" window that opens, click on the "Browse" button.
- In the file dialog window that opens, locate the _KOOLKAT folder on the Cliptures CD (or on your hard disk if you've copied the _KOOLKAT folder to your hard disk), and double-click on the _KOOLKAT folder to open it.
- Click on the CLIPTURE.EXE file name so that it is selected.
- With the CLIPTURE.EXE file name selected, click the "Open" button.
- Back at the "Create Shortcut" window, click on the "Next" button.
- The next window that comes up asks you to "Select Folder to Place Shortcut In:" Click on the "New Folder" button.
- Change the name of the folder to "Cliptures-KoolKat".
- After you have changed the name of the folder, click on the "Next" button.
- The next window that comes up asks you to "Select a Name for the Shortcut:" Type in "Cliptures" and the number for the Cliptures volume you are setting up. (Like "Cliptures 33".
- After you have typed in the name for the Cliptures volume, click on the "Finish" button.
