Creating a Shortcut on your Desktop to start up the KoolKat catalog on any Cliptures CD.

Tip:

You can create a Shortcut on your Windows desktop that you can use to start up any Cliptures volume's KoolKat catalog. The Cliptures-KoolKat program that powers the Cliptures-KoolKat catalogs is the same for all of the Cliptures volumes. So, a shortcut created from any one of the Cliptures-KoolKat programs will work for all of them.

Here's how to do it:

1. Insert a Cliptures CD into your CD drive.
2. From the Windows desktop, double-click on the "My Computer" icon.
3. In the "My Computer" window that opens, double-click the icon for your CD drive.
4. In the window that opens up for your CD drive, double-click on the _KOOLKAT folder icon.
5. In the _KOOLKAT folder window, click one time on the "Clipture" file so that it is selected.
6. From the Edit menu for the _KOOLKAT folder window, select the Copy command.
7. Close any of the windows that you need to so that you can see the "Windows Desktop".
8. Using the right mouse button, click one time on the "Windows Desktop". (Don't click on top of another folder or icon.)
9. From the menu that pops up, select the "Paste Shortcut" command.
10. This will put a shortcut for the Cliptures-KoolKat program on your desktop.

That's it! You now have a shortcut you can use to start up the KoolKat catalog on any Cliptures CD you have in your CD drive.
