Computer Scrapbooking Page Ideas
Turkey 1
Here's a fun scrapbook page idea! The Cliptures clipart image is imported into a page layout program, positioned, and scaled to size. Text is added and positioned as well. The layout is printed, trimmed, and attached to a background sheet of paper. Frames are cut for the photos and then the frames and photos are attached to the page.
Supplies:
- Cliptures: Turkey from Cliptures #8 Occasions 1
- Paper: White for printing image, orange for background sheet, and brown for photo frames.
- Scrapbooking acid free glue or adhesive.
- Straight edge ruler, craft knife, and cutting mat for trimming edges from printed layout.
- Decorative edge scrapbook scissors for cutting photo frames.
Directions:
1. Start a new document in your layout program. Change the background color of the layout to a light yellow or ivory color. (If your program won't let you change the background color of the page, see Adding a Background Color.)
2. Import the turkey from Vol. 8 into your document and scale it to about 4 1/4" tall. Position it in the top left corner of the layout.
3. Add any text you might want.
4. Print the layout on white paper.
5. Trim the non-printed edges (1/2") from all 4 sides of the sheet.
6. Center and attach the trimmed sheet onto the background paper with scrapbook adhesive.
7. Cut frames for your photos with decorative edge scissors.
8. Attach the frames and photos to the layout.
That's it!
