Digital Scrapbook Page Ideas

Soccer Camp

Make a soccer scrapbook page in a flash! The Cliptures clipart image is imported in to a page layout program, positioned and scaled to size. A background color is added to the page. The scrapbook page layout is printed, trimmed, and attached to a background sheet of paper. Text can be added directly in the layout, or, by hand after the page is printed. Frames and photos are added to the page.

Materials:

-Cliptures: Clipart from Cliptures #34 School 3

- Paper: White for printing layout, green for background sheet, and purple for photograph frames.

- Decorative edge scissors for cutting photo frames.

- Acid free crapbooking glue or adhesive.

- Straight edge ruler, craft knife, and cutting mat for trimming edges from printed layout.

Directions:
1. Start a new document in your layout program. Change the background color of the layout to a light blue. (If your program won't let you change the background color of the page, see Adding a Background Color.)

2. Import the soccer player and scale the image to about 3.9" tall. Position it in the lower left part of the page.

3. If you like, you can add text to the layout using the Adding Text technique.

4. Print the layout on white paper.

5. Trim the non-printed edges (1/2") from all 4 sides of the sheet.

6. Center and attach the trimmed sheet onto the background paper with scrapbook adhesive.

7. Cut frames for your photos.

8. Attach the frames and photos to the layout.

That's it!
