Paper Saver Tip

When you are cutting out images from a printed sheet, you may not need the whole page for a single design. Rather than waste the extra paper, you can print out additional copies of the image(s) that you can use on a complimentary scrapbook page. The example here shows how we added a second set of words and some different sizes of an image to a page before it was printed.

Duplicating Clipart

(This will work with just about any layout program.)

1. Select the image(s) you want to duplicate.

2. Under your program's "Edit" menu, select the "Copy" command. (This copies the selected image to your computer's memory.)

3. Go back to the "Edit" menu and select the "Paste" command. A duplicate of the image will be pasted into your document!

Note: Some programs have a "Duplicate" command also (usually in the "Edit" menu). This will do the same thing as a "copy and paste" in one step instead of two!
