Computer Scrapbooking Page Ideas
Bearly Wait for Halloween!
Here's a cute and easy computer scrapbook page to make! A single Cliptures clipart image is imported into a page layout program, the background is colored, and the page is printed. The printed page is trimmed and attached to a colored background paper. Next, the photo frames, photos, and text are added.
Materials:
- Cliptures: Teddy Bear from Cliptures #17 Teddy Bears 1
- Paper: White for printing layout and orange for background sheet.
- Scrapbooking (acid free) glue or adhesive.
- Paper cutter or straight edge ruler, craft knife, and cutting mat for trimming inner layout sheet.
- Decorative edge scissors for cutting photo frames.
Directions:
1. Start a new document in your layout program. Change the background color of the layout to a light purple or violet. (If your program won't let you change the background color of the page, see Adding a Background Color.)
2. Import the teddy bear from Vol. 17. Scale it to about 4" tall and position it in the lower right corner of the layout.
3. Add your text to the layout.
4. Use some temporary shapes for your photos to help get everything positioned properly. (See Temporary Shapes.)
5. After everything is positioned and sized how you want, delete the temporary shapes.
6. Print the layout on white paper.
7. Trim the unprinted edges from the page.
8. Attach the printed and trimmed page to the background sheet with scrapbook adhesive.
9. Trim your photos to their final sizes.
10. Cut the frames for the photos with decorative edge scissors.
11. Arrange and attach the frames and photos to the layout page with scrapbook adhesive.
That's it!
