Haunted House 2

Here's an easy scrapbook page to do! The Cliptures clipart image of 3 Halloween trick or treaters is duplicated to make an entire row across the bottom of the page. The haunted house is added to the top of the page. The layout is printed, and attached to a background sheet of paper. Then, the frames and photos are attached to the layout.

Materials:

- Cliptures: Clipart from Cliptures #7 Fun Accents 1

- Paper: White for printing layout, purple for background sheet, orange and black for photo frames.

- Scrapbooking (acid free) glue or adhesive.

- Paper cutter or straight edge ruler, craft knife, and cutting mat for trimming inner layout sheet.

- Decorative edge scrapbook scissors for cutting photo frames.

Directions:
1. Start a new document in your layout program. Change the background color of the layout to orange. (If your program won't let you change the background color of the page, see Adding a Background Color.)

2. Import the haunted house from Vol. 6 into your document. Scale it to about 2 1/4" tall and position it in the upper left corner of the layout.

3. Import the trick or treaters silhouette image from Vol. 6. Scale the image to about 1 3/4" wide and position it in the lower left corner of the layout.

4. Duplicate the image and place the copy to the right of the first image. (See Duplicating Images tip.) Repeat this two more times so that you have a total of four copies of the image spread along the bottom of the layout.

5. Adjust the spacing between the trick or treater images so that they are evenly spaced along the bottom of the layout.

6. Print the scrapbook page layout on white paper.

7. Trim the unprinted edges from the page.

8. Attach the printed and trimmed page to the background sheet with scrapbook adhesive.

9. Trim your photos to their final sizes.

10. Cut the frames for the photos with decorative edge scissors.

11. Arrange and attach the frames and photos to the layout page with scrapbook adhesive.
