Halloween Scrapbook Page Idea
Beary Scary!
Here's an easy scrapbook page to do! The Cliptures clipart is imported into your payge layout program, positioned, and scaled to size. Text is added and positioned as well. The layout is printed, trimmed, and attached to a background sheet of paper. Frames are cut for the photos and then the frames and photos are attached to the page.
Materials:
- Cliptures: Ghost from Cliptures #15 Fun Accents 2, Witch from Cliptures #17 Teddy Bears 1
- Paper: White for printing layout, green for background sheet, and orange for photo frames.
- Scrapbooking glue or adhesive.
- Paper cutter or straight edge ruler, craft knife, and cutting mat for trimming inner layout sheet.
- Decorative edge scrapbook scissors for cutting photo frames.
Directions:
1. Start a new document in your layout program. Change the background color of the layout to a light violet or purple. (If your program won't let you change the background color of the page, see Adding a Background Color.)
2. Import the ghost from Vol. 15 into your document. Scale it to about 1" tall and position it in the top left corner of the layout.
3. Import the witch from Vol. 17. Scale it to about 3 3/4" tall and position it in the lower left corner of the layout.
4. Add any text you might want.
5. Print the layout on white paper.
6. Trim the unprinted edges from the sheet.
7. Center and attach the trimmed sheet onto green background paper with scrapbook adhesive.
8. Cut frames for your photos with decorative edge scissors.
9. Attach the frames and photos to the layout with scrapbook adhesive.
That's it!
