Scrapbooking Ideas
North Pole
Another easy scrapbook page to make! This design uses a full page border from Cliptures Vol. 14 Fun Borders 2. The border is imported into a layout program and printed. The unprinted edges are trimmed from the page and the trimmed page is attached to a colored background sheet. Frames are cut for the photos and both the frames and photos are attached to the page.
Materials:
- Cliptures: Christmas border from Cliptures Vol 14 Fun Borders 2
- Paper: White for printing layout, red for background sheet, and light blue for photograph frames.
- Scrapbooking glue or adhesive.
- Straight edge ruler, craft knife, and cutting mat for trimming edges from printed border.
- Decorative edge scissors for cutting photo frames.
Directions:
1. Start a new document in your layout program.
2. Import the border from Vol. 14 into your document. If needed, scale the border to 7 1/2" wide by 10" tall. (This will leave a 1/2" unprinted edge around the border when it is printed.)
3. Print the layout on white paper.
4. Using a straight edge ruler, craft knife and cutting mat, trim the unprinted edge from the printed border page.
5. Center and attach the trimmed page to the colored background paper.
6. Cut frames for photos with decorative edge scissors or a circle cutter.
7. Attach frames and photos to the layout.
That's it!
