Scrapbooking Ideas
Christmas Stickers
Make your own scrapbooking "stickers". Import various Cliptures clipart into your layout program, make as many copies of the images as you like (see Duplicating Images), then print the page. Cut out the individual images, arrange, and attach them to your layout.
This layout uses a single background page with photographs, frames, and sticker sized Cliptures images arranged to create an easy-to-make design!
Materials:
- Cliptures: Images from Cliptures #7 Fun Accents 1
- Paper: White for printing images, green for background sheet, and red for photo frames.
- Scrapbooking glue or adhesive.
- Craft knife and cutting mat for trimming the images.
- Decorative edge scrapbook scissors for cutting photo frames.
Directions:
1. Start a new document in your layout program.
2. Import the Christmas images and scale each image to between 1" and 1 1/4" tall.
3. Create any text you want to use as a page topper (headline) for the page.
4. Arrange the images and text on the page for printing. (see Paper Saver tip)
5. Print the page with on white paper.
6. Using a craft knife and cutting mat, or scissors, trim the images leaving an even amount of white space all the way around each image. (This is much easier than trying to trim right up to the edges and it creates a nice design too!)
7. Trim your photos to their final sizes.
8. Cut the frames for the photos with decorative edge scissors.
9. Arrange and attach all of the elements to the background sheet.
That's it!
