| 1. Start iWork Pages and either create a new document or open an existing one. Whether it is a new or an existing document, you want to have some text on the page so you can see how the graphic interacts with the text depending upon the text wrap settings you choose. |
2. From the menu bar at the top of the iWork window, select the Insert command (1) and then select the Choose command (2) at or near the bottom of the list of menu items. |
3. In the file window that opens up, navigate to the Cliptures PDF images folder on your computer (1). Click on the PDF image you want to use (2) and then click the Insert button (3). |
4. Below the iWork main window at the top of the page, click the Inspector icon (1) to show the Inspector palette. |
![]() 5. With the Cliptures image selected (1), click the Wrap Inspector icon (2). When an image is selected, you will see small squares in each of the corners and along the sides of the rectangular area enclosing the image. To enable the image to be placed anywhere on the page, click the Floating option (3) under the Object Placement settings. You can control how any text on your page flows around the image by checking the Object causes wrap checkbox (4) and then selecting one of the wrap options(5). With the Cliptures PDF images, you can control whether text wraps in a rectangular shape around the image of if it flows along the basic contours of the image by selecting one of the Text Fit options (6). |
6. The last illustration shows how text can wrap around the actual contours of a Cliptures PDF image. |
