Insert a Cliptures PDF Image Into An iWork Pages Document

This tutorial shows the quick and easy steps for inserting a Cliptures PDF image into an iWork Pages document and then selecting the options to allow you to place the image anywhere on your page and also how text can be wrapped around the image.
| 1. Start iWork Pages and either create a new document or open an existing one.

2. From the menu bar at the top of the iWork window, select the Insert command (1) and then select the Choose command (2) at or near the bottom of the list of menu items. |
3. In the file window that opens up, navigate to the Cliptures PDF images folder on your computer. |
4. Click on the Cliptures PDF image you want to use on your page and then click the Insert button. |
5. Below the iWork main window at the top of the page, click the Inspector icon to show the Inspector palette. |
6. With the Cliptures image selected (1), click the Wrap Inspector icon (2). When an image is selected, you will see small squares in each of the corners and along the sides of the rectangular area enclosing the image.To enable the image to be placed anywhere on the page, click the Floating option (3) under the Object Placement settings. You can control how any text on your page flows around the image by checking the Object causes wrap checkbox (4) and then selecting one of the wrap options(5). With the Cliptures PDF images, you can control whether text wraps in a rectangular shape around the image of if it flows along the basic contours of the image by selecting one of the Text Fit options (6). |
